Israeli occupation municipality demolished two Palestinian homes in Jerusalem

Israeli occupation's Jerusalem Municipality demolished this morning two Palestinian homes situating in al-Thouri neighborhood of occupied Jerusalem on claims that they were built without permission, 24 new displaced Palestinians.
According to JCESR's Research and Documentation Unit, one of houses belong to the elderly Palestinian woman Siham Ahmad Shwieki Abu Halab, built on area of 70 sq. meters and used to house 14 of the family members.
Eyewitnesses reported to JCESR that the woman felt unconscious twice during the demolition act and was transferred to a nearby medical center. During the act, Municipality staff which was escorted by big numbers of police and Border Guards forced members of the family to evacuate before starting to throw their furniture outside the house.
However, the second demolition targeted Haroun al-Qawasmi family which comprises of 10 members. Their house was built on area of 80 sq. meters. During the demolition of Qawasmi the neighboring house of Nasser al-Shweiki was partly damaged.
According to JCESR, this is the third Palestinian house to be demolished in the past 24 hours. Yesterday, Mussa Mashahreh succumbed to Israeli Jerusalem Municipality threats to demolish his house in Jabal al-Mukaber by his own hands to evade paying intolerable high fines. The house was built on 50 sq. meters and used to house 6 family members.
